El Escoc茅s Volante聽are a family-owned business based in Arag贸n, Spain, passionate about producing high quality wines with a particular focus on the native Garnacha variety.
When Norrel Robertson and his wife Sharon and two sons landed in Spain in 2003, the Garnacha vines, the terroir, and the sheer quality of the raw material they found in Arag贸n captured their attention and imagination and they began their mission to seek out and revive old Garnacha vineyards. In addition to their own 36 hectares of vineyards, they also work closely with a select group of local growers who share their philosophy:聽sustainability and quality are their priorities, from vineyard to bottle.
In the vineyards, they have implemented聽organic viticultural practices since 2014 and have recently started the certification process. They don鈥檛 overcrop or irrigate (with the exceptions of some new plantings in 2022) and they don鈥檛 use pesticides.聽
